The Event:
On October 24, 2010, come out and experience a triathlon event that will change your life... The 17th annual Aspen Medical Products San Diego Triathlon Challenge! You'll have the chance to participate side by side with world-class challenged athletes, professional triathletes, celebrities and able-bodied participants on one of the most breathtaking courses in the country. This event is fun for the whole family and serves as a primary fundraiser for the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Over the past 17 years, this event has helped raise over $25 million to support over 4,500 challenged athletes.

It's an extraordinary journey up the coastline and through the lush San Diego countryside. Participate as an individual, or a relay team or in just one poration of the triathlon.
> 1.2 mile ocean swim beginning and ending at La Jolla Cove
> 56 mile challenging and hilly bike ride
> 13.1 mile hilly run from La Jolla Cove to Torrey Pines State Park and back
Welcome Donors:
The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) raises money to help people with physical disabilities pursue an active lifestyle through physical fitness and athletics. CAF’s mission is clear: give those with the desire to live active, competitive lifestyles every opportunity to compete in the sports they love. You can be assured that your donation will directly assist challenged athletes around the world. Based on our most recent audited financial statement, 80 cents of every dollar raised is used by CAF to support its athletes.
Welcome Fundraisers:
Sign up as an individual, start a team, or join an existing relay team. You can choose to pay a $100 deposit and fundraiser for the remaining registration fee or make a full payment ($600/individual slot or $500/relay team member slot).
Follow the instructions you will receive upon signing up to easily create and personalize your own fundraising website. All the tools you need are right there, so have fun!
Reach your fundraising goal by sending personalized emails to your friends and family asking for their support. Keep track of your progress and the donations you've received in one convenient location!
Train hard and have fun! The San Diego Triathlon Challenge takes place on a beautiful course. It is a great opportunity to gain fitness, raise funds for a great cause, and participate alongside superstar challenged athletes.
